Calgary has no shortage of process servers, and their rates vary considerably. If you’re trying to understand what you should actually pay for professional process serving in Calgary in 2026, here’s a practical breakdown. (For coverage areas, turnaround, and the full city FAQ, see our Calgary process server page.)

Calgary Process Server Rates

Calgary serves are typically flat-rate within city limits — no mileage charges apply when the service address is inside the Calgary city boundary. The base rate covers all standard service attempts, timestamped notes and photo documentation, and a sworn Affidavit of Service.

EasyProServe Calgary Rates:

ServiceCost
Standard Service (base)$185
Rush Service (24–48 hr add-on)+$99
Same-Day Service (add-on)+$125
Additional Defendant (same address)$60
COJ Court Filing$55
Commissioner of Oaths$75

What’s Included in the Base Rate

The $185 base fee covers:

  • 3 service attempts at different times of day/week
  • Timestamped notes and photo documentation of every attempt
  • Sworn Affidavit of Service upon successful completion
  • Address photography confirming location
  • Portal updates on service status (available to law firm clients)

There are no add-on fees for “file handling,” “administration,” or “document review.”

Rush Service in Calgary

Calgary’s rush service — first attempt within 24–48 hours — is available to corporate clients and law firms for a $99 add-on on top of the base rate. Same-day service is $125 when documents are submitted before 11 AM. Rush and same-day serves are prioritized over the standard queue and assigned to an available server immediately upon document receipt.

Rush service is available in Calgary proper only, not for locations requiring travel outside city limits.

Law Firm and Volume Rates

Calgary law firms and corporate legal departments handling regular process serving volumes can arrange account pricing. Volume discounts, consolidated monthly invoicing, and dedicated account service are available. Contact EasyProServe directly to discuss your firm’s volume.
